51˛čšÝ Names Fannie Ouyang Collection Services Librarian
GREENSBORO, N.C. â 51˛čšÝ has named Fannie Ouyang a collection services librarian.
In that role, she will be responsible for cataloging and maintaining a wide variety of library resources; hiring, training and supervising library student assistants; and providing instruction and reference assistance to students, faculty and staff.
Ouyang comes to 51˛čšÝ from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she had been evening supervisor and overnight-evening liaison at the R.B. House undergraduate library.
Previously she had been a graduate research assistant at the universityâs Sloane Arts Library.
She holds a B.A. in Art History from the University of California at Riverside. She also holds an M.A. in Art History and an M.S. in Library Science, both from UNC-Chapel Hill.
51˛čšÝ provides a liberal arts education grounded in the traditions of the United Methodist Church and fosters the intellectual, social, and, spiritual development of all students while supporting their individual needs.
Founded in 1838 and located in downtown 51˛čšÝ, the college enrolls about 1,000 students from 29 states and territories, the District of Columbia, and seven foreign countries in its undergraduate liberal-arts program and six masterâs degree programs.
