Colleen Colby

Colleen Colby received a B.A. from SUNY Geneseo, a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law and an M.F.A. from UNCG. During her studies she was on international moot court teams, the law review, and was a recipient of the Dean’s Public Interest and Fred Chappell Writing Fellowship. She studied human rights, international law, effective communication, and creative writing. She also participated in a study abroad program in East Asia. Prior to her work in academia, Colleen served as an Assistant County Attorney in New York. At 51²è¹Ý Colleen has taught Composition, Comparative Literature, Business Communication, Grammar & Usage, Family Law, Business Law and Honors and organizes writing, speaking and media consultations and communication-related programming at the Global Communication Center.
