African American Studies Minor
Understand history not just as it’s written, but as it’s lived. 51茶馆’s new African American Studies Minor invites students to explore the African American experience through multiple lenses 鈥� history, literature, music, and sociology 鈥� building a richer, more complete picture than any single discipline could offer on its own.
This interdisciplinary minor requires a minimum of 20 credit hours from approved coursework, giving students the flexibility to shape a course of study around their own interests while gaining a well-rounded foundation in African American history, culture, and social thought.
